Fall semester freshman year and Next semester classes #10

This first fall semester has been interesting. There have been some good times, some bad times and some very tired times, but for the most part it has been a rewarding time. For the first half of the semester I spent all week worrying about school and all weekend going crazy, going out to parties until like two or three in the morning and wake up at nine in the morning for class on monday. In high school I never really went to parties and I had heard stories from teachers and students that had graduated, that kids who go to parties in high schools don’t generally go crazy, out of control partying in college but kids who don’t go to a lot of parties find it harder not to get pulled into that crazy party lifestyle. I never thought this story was true but now that I have lived it I know it is true. My classes have be great, and I have had great teachers and great friends/roommates. Living off campus has given my a unique freshman experience due to the fact that most of my  friends are older. Having older roommates is a good thing and a bad thing. The upside to having older roommates is that I have people who have taken the classes I am going to so if I need help with anything in a majority of situations they can help with homework and stuff. While some of the downsides are, because they are all over 21, they spend most of the weekend drinking and since I don’t drink it can get kind of boring. And the second downside is that they don’t always want to be hanging out with their little freshmen roommate, so when they go out they don’t always ask me to tag along, luckily I have three roommate and other friends I can hang out with too. While I still am wanting to transfer schools before the next fall semester I have enjoyed my time here at HSU. And now that I’m on the topic of future semesters I would like to talk about what could possibly be my last semester at HSU. Next semester I made it so I don’t have a class starting before 11 and everyday but thursday I don’t have class until 12 and I only have one class on tuesday that starts at 2 in the afternoon. The classes I will be taking are Oceanography 109, Communications 100, Math 105 (Calculus applying to biology), and Business Administrations 210. I am going to try to crash a few classes as my class load now is only 14 credits and I as hoping to be taking at least 16 credits. I think next semester will be a little easier because I will already know how thing work and what teachers expect although my classes are going to much harder than this next semester. Well I can’t wait to see what new and crazy adventures are waiting next semester.
