Should I Take Notes???

I have this one class in the morning where I’m really behind on notes because the professor reads through their slides really fast and I found that when I was taking notes I wasn’t paying attention to their explanation and was more worried about getting everything down on paper. But today while walking home I realized they put the notes online in power point form, thats where i have been making up my notes, and never realized I could download all the notes and not have to write them in class.  That means I could just get the info they are trying to get across during the class period and ask any questions that arise. The only problem with this idea is that my professor doesn’t post the notes until the end of the week so I would still be behind until the end of the week comes and could then read through the notes on the weekend. I’m not sure if I can continue to be behind and not get their explanations and pass, but writing down their thoughts without the notes might not be helpful either.

Lacrosse???

My question this week is do I really want to play lacrosse? I love the sport and it's great exercise but when it comes to school work I begin to lag. Usually practice makes me tired and getting up in the morning is hard enough already. With this being my first year in college I want to perform well, especially since I'm not exactly sure if the school is the right fit and the distance from home is killing me. Another reason I hesitant about playing is because I'm strongly thinking about transfering schools to somewhere closer to home and a place most suitable for my success after college, and bad grades won't make that an easy task. It's killing me inside not playing and being told by a friend that it's so much fun is not helping me either. I guess the decision is mine to make but no matter what decision I choose, I see myself losing. I'm going tomorrow to check out practice and hopefully if it's not to demanding, I will join.
